We're in downtown Denver, located in the Ballpark & RiNo Neighborhoods
Since we opened our doors in 2003, Blake Street Tavern has dedicated itself to elevating the traditional sports bar experience into the ultimate sports bar experience. Whether you’re stopping by to catch a game while visiting from out of town, a member of one of our dedicated alumni watch groups, a welcome regular or new to the Tavern, you’ll find our exceptional fare, unique atmosphere and friendly service always make you feel at home.
We’ve created a one-of-a-kind menu that caters to every taste and we have the awards to prove it. With a craft beer list that’s second to none, a variety of drink and happy hour offerings, and daily specials that range from dogs to soups to entrees, you and your guests are sure to have a great time—whatever the season, whatever the event.
Blake Street Tavern offers two floors of fun, including five separate areas dedicated to state-of-the-art game sound environments, 65 4K Ultra-HD TVs, a mammoth projector screen in our 250 person Beer Garden, three bars, an outdoor patio with a mountain view, five event spaces, and a game assortment that is second to none for spontaneous meetups, matches and fun.

Our goal is to provide our customers with the ultimate game watch atmosphere, whether you're an individual stopping in for a game while on a business trip, or a member of one of our many alumni watch groups. You may be watching your favorite team from thousands of miles away, but our hope is that your experience with us makes you feel right at home.
Our menu provides various award-winning options and our craft beer list would make any tailgate spread jealous! If you miss playing tailgate games with your best friends, don't worry, we've got cornhole boards, darts, skeeball lanes, and much, much more! Between our 65 HD TVs, 18,000 sq. ft. of big fun, and our dedication to bringing you the best, most friendly service possible, we continue to strive to bring our patrons the best sports bar atmosphere in Denver!
With that said, we'd never accuse ourselves of being a one trick pony! We strive every day to maintain our local reputation as a neighborhood tavern, catering that same friendly service to our beloved regulars, local customers, as well as all of our corporate happy hour groups, fundraisers, and countless holiday parties! The Space
Blake Street Tavern is gigantic in size. We’re talking 18,000 square feet here with multiple floors containing a range of activities on each. You walk in and immediately get to choose between going upstairs or downstairs. The upstairs is more of a restaurant with top of the line food and the basement appears to be where the majority of the gaming action happens. Both levels also feature wrap around bars with seating for at least 40 people. You can’t go wrong going either up or down in this place, both are equally entertaining in different respects. The upstairs section contains a lot of the video games and pool tables, flat screen TV’s for watching your favorite team and access to an outdoor patio. Blake Street Tavern has a subscription to all the games across the country on any given day. If you are a fan of some random small town team and want to watch the game then chances are Blake Street Tavern will have it on when you walk in!

The Food and Drink
Blake Street Tavern has a huge menu full of delicious choices. It’s not typical bar food either. We have things like Philly Cheesesteaks and a whole slew of burgers to choose from that will make you come back for seconds! In most establishments that feature a lot of games, you can expect the normal bar food like mozzarella sticks and some cheese fries or something along those lines. Blake Street Tavern boasts a full menu that rivals most upscale restaurants. Just check out their menu when you get there. We have entrees suitable for lunch and dinner available to you from open to close! We offer a ton of specials on a daily basis as well so be sure to check them out here for the latest and greatest. If you live close by, we even deliver! How cool is that?
The Games
Blake Street Tavern is one of the best Fun Restaurants in Denver! We have tons of games for you to enjoy while sipping on a cold one. Don’t worry about whether or not we have your particular bar game at this place because we most likely do. We have skeeball, Buckhunter arcade game, cornhole, darts, billiards, Jenga, giant Jenga, board games, connect 4, beer pong, table tennis, shuffleboard and more. We have everything anybody or any group of people could want in a bar. Imagine drinking with your buddies and being able to compete in any bar game possible. It’s a dream come true! Blake Street Tavern is also one of the absolute best places to go for a first, second, or even third date as well. I mean, what are you looking for in a date anyway? A place to get to know someone right? A drink and fun games will get you both loosened up and ready to have a great time together.
The Atmosphere
When you are at the Blake Street Tavern you have nothing to worry about when it comes to the atmosphere. The place gets packed a lot but everyone seems very down to earth and mellow plus there is plenty of space. Remember the 18,000 square feet? There are a lot of regulars and out-of-staters that come in there on a daily basis. It’s a great place to really meet people and have a good time. We also cater to a bunch of alumni groups that gather there just to reunite with good friends. Why do they choose Blake Street Tavern? Well, it’s because this bar makes them feel at home. Its atmosphere just brings people together. We have also won a number of prestigious awards recently in the sports bar section from big time media outlets which you can read about above.
The Location
The location of Blake Street Tavern is perfect. Most people who don’t live in the Denver area will access it from the I-25 and once you exit onto Park Avenue, you are basically there. There is a ton of parking in front of the bar, to the side, and street parking as well. It’s located right in the heart of the sought after LoDo district in Denver. There are a ton of bars nearby if you want to bar hop as well. Need some food after a night of drinking? There are also a ton of very trendy restaurants nearby to keep you full. The founders of Blake Street Tavern couldn’t have picked a more perfect location to put, hands down, the best gaming bar in all of Denver!
Final Thoughts
If this hasn’t made you a fan of Blake Street Tavern, then I don’t know what will! Bring yourself, bring your friends, bring your date, you are guaranteed a great time when coming to this bar. The food and drink is great and all but the games… You can play anything your little heart desires which is so fun when with friends.
